Iris flocculus

Description: Iris flocculus is a rare ocular anomaly characterized by pigmented epithelial cysts of the iris that appear as dark, irregular granules floating in the aqueous humor. These formations can be unilateral or bilateral and vary in size and number. Although generally asymptomatic and benign, they can occasionally be associated with systemic conditions such as aortic aneurysms due to mutations in the ACTA2 and MYH11 genes.
