A Word From the Organizing Committee
Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you to the first edition of the Congress of the Moroccan Ocular Imaging Society.
For several months, our scientific committee has been passionate about developing a high-quality scientific program with renowned speakers from Morocco and elsewhere.
Our Congress, which will take place over two days, will focus on news in ocular imaging and will include a day dedicated to imaging of the anterior segment, and a second day dedicated to imaging of the posterior segment.
We will also have the pleasure of hosting three joint sessions: with the ARMD, the Moroccan Glaucoma Society, as well as the Association of Oriental Ophthalmologists.
We hope our Congress will be a source of learning, inspiration, and sharing that will allow you to improve your daily practices and deepen your knowledge of ocular imaging.

Submit your image for the " Eye Image Award " contest
The contest is open to ophtalmologists and residents
Please send your Eye Image to the following email : submission@societesmio.ma
Conditions : Propose an image or photo of the ocular pathology (anterior segment or posterior segment) with a comment not exceeding 3 lines.
- The image to be submitted must be unpublished, never presented to another competition, article, oral presentation or poster .
- The image to be submitted must not be retouched.
- Image editing is not accepted.
- Image format: Jpeg or PNG with minimum resolution of 600 dpi
- Minimum size: 1 MB
- Images that meet these conditions will be presented orally in 2 minutes during the 2nd day of the congress.
- Only one submission per person
The 5 best images will be rewarded and published on the SMIO website. They will also be broadcast during the VuExplorer Congress scheduled for October 13 in Paris.

Coverage of the registration and the hotel fees at the ARMD 2024 Congress in Juan Les Pins
2nd Prize
Coverage of the registration fees for one of the following congresses: ARMD 2024 congress in Juan Les Pins, Vision Congress in Rabat, VuExplorer 2024 Congress in Paris, as desired
3rd Prize
Coverage of the registration fees for one of the following congresses (after the choice of the 2nd prize): ARMD 2024 Congress in Juan Les Pins, Vision Congress in Rabat, VuExplorer 2024 Congress in Paris
