Implant of Iluvien located just behind the PCI

Description: Image of an Iluvien implant located just behind the posterior capsule. The patient was clinically disturbed and reported a sensation of 'windshield wiper' floaters. After an initial phase of monitoring, we opted for YAG laser vitreolysis just above the Iluvien implant, which allowed the vitreous above the implant to be released, causing the Iluvien implant to shift downward and clear the center.
